I’ve been having a lot of medical issues the past 3 months. I will be seeing a specialist as of March to determine if I will need a procedure done that will leave me sounding like a duck for a few months. Fingers crossed I pass the test! On the a different note, I applied to COS and completed my FASFA last semester. I am still waiting to take the placement test-which I am studying for, and make an educational plan with a COS counselor. I plan on majoring in business and doing big things with that degree. After COS, I am going to transfer to Sacramento State to further my business career. I plan on getting my Real Estate license as soon as I can so when I do go off to Sacramento State I have a well paying job while gaining experience in the business field instead of working at a restaurant tending cash.
I am currently searching for a job so I can get a modified schedule.
I applied at the two Water Drops location in Porterville, Rue 21, and Tony’s Pizza.
I spoke to my counselor about a modified schedule and all I am hoping and waiting for is an phone call to schedule an interview.
Unfortunately, I am going to have to appeal to graduate on stage because of my attendance.
Never in my four years of high school have I had an academic problem-except with Miguel but that’s a different story.
I have always been on pace to graduate and I completed my classes the year of.
I’ve always been ahead of pace or on pace; never behind.
With that being said, I am an excellent learner despite the excessive absences.
I am looking forward for the last two months of senior year.
Prom, my birthday trip, graduation, and my graduation trip!
This semester has been the most relaxed semester I’ve ever had. Two TA period, one Office Aide period, and Leadership. All I have left to complete is English, AP Spanish, and Accounting 1P. I started senior year strong and I will finish even stronger.
